About me

Jos Krynen

Hi, my name is Jos Krynen, I’m a photographer, an educational speaker, author, and teacher of photography, and photo editor for many years now.

I started photography when I was 12 years old with a Nikkormat camera, I still remember the first picture that I took and was on the mantle from my grandmothers for years after, my big toe.

After that, I started to get a bit more creative and did a lot of underwater photography all over the world, got published a lot of times with award-winning pictures. Became president of the Dutch Underwater Photographers Association.

The passion changed to above the water wildlife and when we moved from The Netherlands to Canada it took off for me as a photographer.

During my work, I started developing a passion for photo editing and do a lot of post-processing work for well-renowned photographers all over the world, work for National Geographic and other magazines.

Through my photography, prints, and photo books, I invite you to bring bits of my stories into your life and home. New prints are released regularly.

Nature photography is what I love the most, and I will spend days on end to get the picture I want.

I am surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people. I use my camera to document the wildlife world and then print images with a focus on the magic I find in daily life.

My pictures tell my stories.
